We are delighted to invite you to the joint meeting of the 9th MASSIN Congress, ICCVS & INU 2026, scheduled between May 14-17, 2026, at J W Marriott, Sahar, Mumbai, India. I am honoured and delighted to be selected as the President of the 9th MASSIN Congress. The MASSIN (Madjid Samii Society of International Neurosurgery) was created in 2002 by former trainees and colleagues of Professor Samii to celebrate and propagate his legacy in neurosurgery through bi-annual Congresses. Mumbai, India, is privileged to host the meeting for the first time in India. In this meeting, in-depth discussions and debates on various topics in neurosurgery will be held with the active participation of experts in their respective fields, and Professor Samii will be actively involved throughout the meeting.

Additionally, the ICCVS (International Conference of Cerebrovascular Surgery) 2026 and INU (International Neurosurgery Update) 2026 will be jointly organised along with MASSIN Congress. Didactic lectures, Debates and Consensus on various aspects of neurosurgery will be carried out in this meeting. Professor Ketan Desai, a senior consultant at P D Hinduja Hospital and my colleague, will be the Organising Secretary of the joint meeting.
